THIS IS A HIGH PERFORMANCE PRODUCT. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Thank you for purchasing a Force Fed Motorsports custom performance tune/retune. Please be sure to read all the information on this page for exclusions and limitations of this sale, helpful tips, and forced induction notices. To protect your vehicle and the integrity of the performance tune all tunes are locked. Tunes can be unlocked at no charge; however stock parameters will be loaded. Force Fed Motorsports does not send out unlocked performance tunes. No exception! Do not use this Product until you (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”) have carefully read this Disclaimer. Be sure to abide by all local, state, and federal laws. The installation of an after market tune and/or performance parts, (hereinafter referred to as the "Product") indicates that you have read and understand, and accept all of the terms of this Disclaimer. A dynamometer, commonly referred to as a “dyno,” is a machine that is used to measure the horsepower output of an engine. A chassis dynamometer has large rollers upon which the drive wheels are placed. The vehicle is run up to a certain speed and put under load so the amount of power that is being delivered to the wheels can be measured. The dynamometer may also be used to simulate actual driving conditions when troubleshooting drivability problems.
Dynamometers have an inherent amount of risk. Testing for maximum horsepower places strain on a vehicle’s engine comparable to that of actual racetrack driving. Mechanical problems occasionally occur during or as a result of such testing and calibration. These mechanical problems may include, but are not limited to, blown head gaskets, thrown rods, and broken pistons as well as damage to the drive train.
By authorizing Force Fed Motorsports (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller") to test and calibrate your vehicle on the dynamometer, you the Buyer hereby knowingly and voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Force Fed Motorsports, nor it’s directors, agents, or employees (hereinafter referred to as “Releasees”) from any and all obligations, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever, known or unknown, in tort, contract, or by federal, state, or local statute, regulation, or order, or on any other basis, for equitable relief, compensatory, punitive, or other damages, or for expenses (including attorney’s fees) whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, that arise in connection with the testing of your vehicle on the dynamometer.
Vehicles with superchargers, turbochargers and nitrous need to be scanned to ensure all sensors and electronics are reading correctly and are in working order.
Our tunes are designed to optimize air flow (or "a/f") ratio and timing to ensure your vehicle will run properly. However, there are many variables that can cause problems. The tune cannot correct for weak and insufficient fuel pumps or injectors, a dirty filter or other mechanical problems.
To be sure everything is in working order, be sure to install a boost and a/f ratio gauge.
Some vehicles cannot supply enough fuel when charged. If this is the case, larger fuel injectors and a high performance fuel pump must be installed.
Do not run the car at wide open throttle without monitoring the AIR/FUEL RATIO!!!!
Your vehicle must have at least 4” of ground clearance to go on the dyno.
On some exhaust setups (such as dumps and some muffler designs) it is not possible to install our wideband O2 sensor in the exhaust tip, there is an additional charge for installing the wideband in place of a factory O2 sensor under the car.
